eBay recently launched a new classifieds site to go head-to-head with Craigslist. The new site is called Kijiji.

I think as it gets more popular its going to be an extremely great way to drive traffic to your site. i.e. That is of course if you don't bend the rules.

Lots of people generate good traffic and some sales with Craigslist but this is done normally by breaking the rules of Terms Of Service - Which I am against.

Kijiji, very much the same as the Craigslist type of website, allows its users to find and post ads in their location. What does this mean? Well, it is and excellent way to get you message out to the major cities in the US (Huge market) for FREE.

With your marketing efforts online is always good to try and test different things and be creative!. So head over there now and see if you start generating some good leads and traffic by using this site. Once people realise the amazing value in a website like this it will be the talk of the town.

1) Don't go and buy every product thats out there.
2) Don't buy big membership priced packages if your not prepared to take action and use it
3) Find a business model that works for you and stick to that.
4) Find at least one mentor (really you should get a handful) and get them to teach you as much as humanly as possible.
5) Don't worry about mistakes, just don't make them again. We are all on this earth to learn from our mistake. If you make one don't let it consume you. Move on and make adjustmenst so that it doesnt happen again.

Increase Online Profits By Brainstorming.

Here are some really good ways to get you online sales and profits sawing, by brainstorming and coming up with genius ideas and techniques to utilize to get satisfying results.

One of the best ways I generate new ideas with others is to go to weekly Meet Up groups in my local area. I live around the Australia, and there are tons of Internet groups that meet in person at pubs, banquet halls etc. Look in your area for meetup groups at www.MeetUp.com

I use brainstorming sessions to figure out related information that I can use to make my main project idea better. You can ask people, friends or make friends with other well known marketers and agree to weekly or monthly brainstorming sessions.

Another good one for this type of thing is www.facebook.com, get an invitation only group on that between you and your trusted business partners.

Here are some places that work here, brainstorm with:

1. Your clients! Do JVs together and grow biz together!
2. Other Marketers - via phone, Skype, IM, PMs, email...anyway and every way! Someone is always on here 24/7.
3. People you meet at IM events and other events - local trade shows...
4. Take late afternoon and evening walks around your neighborhood and talk to neighbors. Turns out one of mine is a Power Seller on eBay, another is a home-based photographer for National Geographic with a lab in his garage…and there are many more cool folks here all around!

DO You SQUIDOO?

With all the new talk of web 2.0 there is some really good way for you to get massive traffic if you are smart about it.

Web 2.0 is changing the way lots of people do business. Myspace and resources like THIS ONE
are making it possibe for businesses not matter how big and how small to generate alot of traffic
and make lots of sales with minimal work. But what I have noticed is that squidoo is fast becoming a popular and easy resource for all this.

I have a marketing friend who rang me last night and said he was showing up in the first page of google for a specific keyword. What did it cost him? NOTHING! just a free account with squidoo that is keyworded targeted to the niche he is selling in. Here are some of the reasons alot of people are using squidoo and getting results fast:

_ Squidoo is very easy to use.

- it gets indexed QUICKLY, infact google loves it.

- its a free source that allows affiliate links

- a resources to generate incom

- can quickly generate traffic to your website or blog

Now I agree that this is not the be all and end all. Heck you should be using many other techniques to get traffic to your site, and this could only be a fad and last a short while but you should make use of it while it is hot.

So I guess with all this in mind is are you SQUIDOOING!!?? Well if you aren't you better get cracking. It is a wise descision.

brainstorming success - 21 tips for brainstorming and writing copy.

Here are some of the ways that help me when i undergo intensive brain storming
session with clients or my marketing friends and also will help when it comes
to writing copy or ads for you business or niche.

1 - organise your writing outline your piece and how you will approach it.

2- outline the basic messages you want to get accross, writing needs to have
a theme. A theme is usually an objective for example you might want to
persuade someone to do soemting.

3- Be clear and exact with your ideas.

4- use facts and benefits all the the time.

5- avoid words with more than one meaning.

6- Use a thesaurus so that you can choose simple words not complex ones.
Pay particular attention to your words to avoid repeating specific ones.


7- Dont use convoluted sentences use simple one with small descriptive words.

8- Use one idea per paragraph.

9- Use one, or at most two, sentences per paragraph.

10- Maintain a logical order for sentences.

11- avoid generalisations.

12- Be specific provide details.

13- avoid repetition.

14- use present tense as if it is happening now.

15- put important info at the start of your writing as readers may have switched
off by the time they get halfway through.

16- Use active rather than passive voice.

17- avoid jargon explain everything in laymens terms.

18- Dont contradict yourself, smart readers pick up and will turn away if they spot it.

19- draft , draft and redraft.

20- Get someone else or target someone to review your work see if it grabs their attention.
focus on a group and get feedback and take both good and bad comments.

21- Take your time to edit over a day or two...you need to rest your brain. sometime a break
is all we need to feel revitalised and complete a masterpiece.

Hi All, Im back I have been missing for quite a while. I bought this site back off the last bum (who did practically nothing with it). I really love the thought of having my baby back. It seems like an eternity, but to have it back in my possesion is great.
